Below is a sample of our Industrial experience and some example projects.
ExperienceE2C Principals have years of hands-on environmental compliance experience in industrial settings in industries including automotive manufacturing, food production, and pharmaceuticals. Experience that can benefit you and the environment. E2C can help with day to day compliance issues such as dealing with hazardous waste, Spill Plans, and Storm water Plans , as well as preparing air or wastewater permits for new systems or system modifications. Pollution Prevention is a buzz word in environmental circles. E2C has the experience to take these words into actions and many times cut waste production and save money at the same time. Hands-0n experience in an industrial setting has allowed E2C principals to understand how to reduce the amount of waste produced without hampering production or quality while saving money. Many times production efficiency can be increased while doing good for the environment. E2c Personnel are also experienced in UST closures and site remediations. Personnel have completed projects ranging from emergency response actions to tank closures to remedial action planning and implementation. Example ProjectsStorm water permitting for large industrial facility and development of SWPPP. Experience with General Permits and individual permits. Air permitting for new industrial line which was a source of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs). Title V air Permitting of a 500,000 square foot facility with over 1000 employees. Initial NPDES permitting for discharge for a Site Remediation. Elimination of Ozone Depleting Substances from a facility using over 150,000 lbs per year through process reengineering, product substitution, alternate cleaning techniques. The resulted in a savings of over $50,000 per year in chemical and disposal cost with no capital expenditures. Process changes and chemical management system that resulted in a 60% decrease in rinse water usage for a plating operation and chemical cost savings of over $200,000 per year while maintaining throughput and quality. Overall waste minimization planning for large automotive facility that reduced overall waste production by over 50%. Emergency response action for major petroleum company where leak from USTs had impacted neighboring property. Managed removal of fuel from under neighboring property, installation of cut-off/product removal trench, site assessment and remedial action for site. Completed tank closure with pit containing 8 tanks ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 gallons capacity. Managed contaminated soil off-site until hydrocarbon levels were remediated to below action levels and managed disposal of soil. Designed , installed and operated groundwater treatment system for diesel fuel release. Project included all permitting, and operation of system.
